Blended fabric

For blended fabric, the properties of synthetic staple fibers are different from the filaments and blended with other fibers. Therefore, its thermal properties are similar to the filament fabrics and also have other characters.

T/C fabric has higher dimensional thermal stability than polyester filament fabric. If the finishing temperature is 20℃ higher than the free shrinkage temperature, it can be have a good dimensional thermal stability. eg. 200℃ finishing T/C fabric has a free shrinkage rate 1.5% at 180℃.


For fabric dyed on thermosol dyeing machines, the unfinished, 180℃ finishing, 200℃ finishing of T/C fabrics, the change rate in the warp and weft directions during thermosol dyeing and the critical dissolution time of polyester (CDT) are listed in the table.
